There’s a new Easter tradition in town this year, and you’re invited!

The annual Easter Egg Roll at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue is no longer the only place to find Easter eggs in Washington, D.C. Nats fans are invited to 1500 South Capitol Street to hunt for eggs in the outfield when the Nationals host the first-ever Easter Egg Hunt at Nationals Park on Sunday! The inaugural hunt will take place on the field after the Phillies vs. Nationals game at 1:35 p.m.

How it works:

Nats fans ages 0-8 years old will get the special chance to hunt for Easter eggs in the outfield at Nationals Park. Easter egg hunting will take place in separate age groups and will begin after Kids Run the Bases.

The Easter Bunny and the Nationals Racing Presidents will be at the ballpark to help fans find Easter eggs.

Some lucky fans will find “special” eggs in the outfield. These special eggs will have golden tickets inside, redeemable for exclusive Nationals items such as jerseys, autographed items and more.

How to participate:

With the purchase of a special ticket, kids will take home a commemorative Nationals-themed wooden Easter egg and a basket. Although the “hunting” will be reserved for just kids, both parents and kids must purchase a special ticket to be allowed on the field. To purchase tickets, please visit nationals.com/Easter.

Enjoy the below video, and we hope to see you there!
