WATCHING WILSON WORK

With a 3-for-4 performance on Saturday night, Nationals C Wilson Ramos turned in his third multi-hit effort in his last four games and his 29th multi-hit game of the season…Ramos, who clubbed his 17th home run of the season on Friday night, set a new single-season career high in home runs, topping the 16 he clubbed in 2013.

  • Ramos, who is now tied for the Major League lead in home runs among catchers, has also hit safely in 18 of his last 22 games, including multi-hit efforts in seven of his last 14…His 27 walks this season are also the second-most in his career behind the 38 he worked in 2011.
