Today in Nationals’ History: Joe Ross earns first career win
June 13, 2015 – Making his second career start, RHP Joe Ross spun 8.0 innings of two-run ball, allowing seven hits while striking out eight. He earned his first career win as the Nationals topped the Brewers, 7-2. Ross set a Nationals record (2005-present) for the most batters faced (51) before issuing a walk to start a career. He walked Adam Lind with two outs in the eighth inning. The win began a stretch of 12 wins in 16 games for the Nationals through the end of June.
