Nationals announce 2014 NLDS Roster

The Washington Nationals announced their 25-man roster for the 2014 National League Division Series on Friday morning, in advance of their 3:07 p.m. game vs. the San Francisco Giants.

The Nationals’ roster will be comprised of 12 pitchers (three left-handed, nine right-handed) and 13 position players (two catchers, seven infielders, four outfielders).

Here is the Nationals’ full roster:

Stunning. Det when from the starter that pitched best in 2012 playoffs to non-person. I’d much rather have Det than Sori on this team.

Neat format.
MW passed on some talent like Treinan, Souza, etc.. Didn’t guess Sori.

I’d go to war with this group of young men and the former Marine leading them…..Ooorah!

Oh my! No Souza or Taylor! Oh my!

Please Matt, whatever you do, don’t let Soriano on the field.

I don’t see what Soriano’s role would be, nor do I see how Blake Treinen wouldn’t be better in whatever role that is. I also would have liked to see Michael Taylor on the roster, as it is good to have bench speed in the playoffs, but I’m not sure who I would have taken off to accommodate that move.
