    Denard Span ranks second among MLB leadoff hitters with 71 runs scored (St. Louis’s Matt Carpenter, 74).

Might as well make a couple of comments:

1. Not happy with Harper’s route to the double. Then I saw the view from behind the plate. There is a reason I stopped playing golf. That sucker took a sharp left.
2. Checking on Braves/Dodgers game. MLB is putting a graphic, in the upper right hand corner showing defensive alignment. I’ve been watching Nats ball since it was on WTTG (DuMont Network). I’ve never seen this. There has never been a need.
