Of note:

The Nationals have posted wins on back-to-back days at AT&T Park for the first time since July 31-Aug. 1, 2006. The Nationals are 2-0-1 in series play against the Giants dating to 2011. The two clubs split six games last year, with both clubs winning two of three in their home ballparks. The Nationals, who have taken the first two games of this four-game set, have won series at AT&T Park on three occasions: 2 of 3 in 2005, ‘06, ‘12.

Roster move:

Before tonight’s game, the Washington Nationals placed catcher Wilson Ramos on the 15-day Disabled List with a Grade 1 right hamstring strain and recalled catcher Sandy Leon from Triple-A Syracuse.
