Game #63: Washington Nationals (33-29) at San Francisco Giants (42-22) | 7:15 p.m. (PT); 10:15 p.m. (ET) | AT&T Park
Pitching Match-Ups: RHP Doug Fister (4-1, 3.19 ERA) vs. LHP Madison Bumgarner (8-3, 2.86 ERA)
As Washington Nationals right-hander Doug Fister aims to become the first Nationals starter to earn a win in five consecutive starts since Gio Gonzalez turned the trick, May 5-27, 2012, he faces a re-match of Game 2 of the 2012 World Series. Fister opposed San Francisco Giants lefty Madison Bumgarner that night and pitched well, though the Detroit Tigers fell, 2-0. Fister was also hit in the head with a line drive in that game but was, fortunately, unhurt.
