Of note:

The Washington Nationals pulled off their ninth comeback victory of the season on Friday night, turning a 3-0 deficit into a 5-3 victory over the Philadelphia Phillies. The comeback victory continued a trend the Nationals have set early this season: being able to attack opposing teams’ bullpens and put up runs late.

In the seventh inning or later this season, the Nationals are outscoring their opponents 60-25.

The 60 runs scored are good for the second-best mark in Major League Baseball (behind only the Chicago White Sox), as well as the best mark in the National League. The 25 runs allowed are the third-fewest given up in the Major Leagues.

Here are tonight’s game notes, courtesy of the Washington Nationals PR department. Enjoy!
