I know that I should not say this but this may be the time that the Nats finally turn the corner and make that expected run that everybody has hoped for. For me, it was the way they won the series with the Metz. It was not the 14 to 1 blowout which is so uncharacteristic of baseball, but the 4 to 1 victory that gave me the feeling that they had finally turned the corner. The 4 to 1 game was the way baseball games are generally won. And the Nats did it convincingly. I think that is why this almost throw away two game nothing with the Tigers looms as important. If they can take these two with a team that they hardly know then I think they may have finally hit their stride. I just hope that Cabrera misses his cab to the stadium.
