Nationals can continue hot streak against Marlins tonight

The Nationals return home for a three-game set against the Marlins after sweeping the New York Mets in four during the week. John Lannan and the Nats can make it six in a row if they can send Javier Vazquez to the showers early.
Here are tonight’s lineups:

Emilio Bonfiacio – SS
Omar Infante – 2B
Mike Stanton – RF
Jose Lopez – 3B
Logan Morrison – LF
Gaby Sanchez – 1B
Bryan Petersen – CF
John Buck – C
Javier Vazquez – P

Ian Desmond – SS
Roger Bernadina – LF
Ryan Zimmerman – 3B
Laynce Nix – RF
Rick Ankiel – CF
Danny Espinosa – 2B
Chris Marrero – 1B
Wilson Ramos – C
John Lannan – P

*The four-game sweep of the Mets is only the second time the team has completed one on the road, the last time being in 2009 against the Braves.

*Tyler Clippard officially holds the franchise record for holds in a season with 34, and can easily extend that with the two weeks that remain in the season.

*Michael Morse, who gets a day off tonight, has the opportunity to become the Nationals first .300 hitter that also has at least 27 home runs and 85 RBI; his batting average is currently .303, and should he remain consistent, he could easily hold that distinction at the end of the month.
