Nats-Rockies, series finale

Despite losing the series, the Nationals still have a chance to finish the homestand strong and go into the All-Star Break on a high note with a win today. Jordan Zimmermann takes on Jhoulys Chacin in today’s matchup.

*John Lannan, who exited Friday night’s game with a nasal contusion after taking a line drive to the side of his face, says he plans on making his next start after the break – good news after what was a very scary moment for Nationals fans.

*In his one previous career start against the Nationals, Chacin only made it through five innings. He gave up six runs, including two homers, and took the loss.
