Three runs in the first inning were all the Nationals needed in last night’s game to help Ross Detwiler get a win in his season debut. Tonight, Tom Gorzelanny is on the mound taking on the Cubs for the first time since being dealt to DC.

*Randy Wells hasn’t exactly been having fun during Cubs road trips this year, pitching to a 0-1 record with an 8.36 ERA, with 13 runs given up over 16 hits. Against the Nationals specifically, he hasn’t fared much better, with a 7.15 ERA.
