Nats-Cubs, Game 3

Three runs in the first inning were all the Nationals needed in last night’s game to help Ross Detwiler get a win in his season debut. Tonight, Tom Gorzelanny is on the mound taking on the Cubs for the first time since being dealt to DC.

Here are tonight’s lineups:

Reed Johnson – RF

Starlin Castro – SS

Aramis Ramirez – 3B

Carlos Pena – 1B

Marlon Byrd – CF

Alfonso Soriano – LF

*Michael Morse is back in the lineup after missing a few games due to an elbow contusion. Morse is still in the running for the All-Star Game Final Vote, so be sure to vote for him here – voting ends at 4 p.m. EST tomorrow! Fans who vote for Morse will get 50 percent off of a pair of tickets to a future Nationals game.

*Randy Wells hasn’t exactly been having fun during Cubs road trips this year, pitching to a 0-1 record with an 8.36 ERA, with 13 runs given up over 16 hits. Against the Nationals specifically, he hasn’t fared much better, with a 7.15 ERA.
