 Game notes:

o   With a home run last night Adam Dunn is up to 299, just one homer shy of 300. He is two home runs ahead of David Ortiz (297) as they attempt to be the 18th active player in the 300-Home Run Club.

o   Including last night’s game, five of the seven meetings between the Nationals and the Braves have been decided by one run.

o   Starter John Lannan ranks 16th among active pitchers (with at least 50 starts) in quality start percentage. Out of his 53 total career starts, 33 of them have been quality starts (at least six innings pitched, no more than three earned runs).

Hopefully Hanson and the offense can continue their success. Atlanta is on a nice run and it would be great to get a second straight series sweep.
